As you head further into the town, you see more and more evidence of life. The houses look new, but not shiny. The rain runs down the windows, fogging the insides, and casting over smudges and stains from previous storms.
You see many garages, but no cars. There are no vehicles on the road, no children playing in the front yards. No rubbish blows down the streets, no convenient newspapers or even spam to explain where anyone is.
