The football field is drier than you'd expect with all the rain. The water just seems to slide across the surface of the cracked earth. There are tufts of grass here and there, but they mostly seem to be dead.
The entire field feels entirely abandoned. Even the scraps of rubbish look old.
The playground is nearby, as well as the houses of the outskirts.
