This place is entirely industrial. Lines upon lines of telephone wires hang overhead, before descending into the telephone exchange on the edge of the suburb. You can see one of the workers shouting at a cat that is sitting calmly on one of the heavier gauge wires, happily licking at one of its paws.
The contrast to Wendouree is remarkable, but it seems that many of those who live there also spend their days working here.
